Today the people of Sulaimani paid tribute to martyr Ghazal and all the martyrs of Kurdistan!

The reaction of the people of Sulaymaniyah to the death of Ghazal Molan; popular solidarity against unpopular structures
Following the death of Ghazal Molan, a Peshmerga fighter who lost his life after a drone attack on the headquarters of the Kumaleh Zhodakshan and then being deprived of medical services in Sulaymaniyah hospitals, a wave of anger and sympathy has formed among the people of Sulaymaniyah.
According to reports, in a situation where the ruling structures in the Kurdistan Region and some religious movements refused to take the slightest humane measures, some mosques even refused to accept and wash his body due to attributing this deceased to leftist and communist movements. Finally, Sardar Abdullah, a citizen, took on the responsibility of washing his body alone in his home.
This action has been described by many as an outstanding example of human responsibility and social honor; Where a human being, in the absence of official institutions, shouldered the burden of responsibility that a city had failed to fulfill.

At the same time, published reports and videos show that a large part of the people of Sulaymaniyah and even some religious movements have reacted negatively to these behaviors, considering them inhuman and unacceptable. A number of citizens have expressed their readiness to provide their homes and facilities to the victims, and even some mosques, after learning about this issue, have expressed their dissatisfaction and announced their readiness to cooperate in such circumstances.

These behaviors have once again highlighted the gap between the people and the non-popular structures ruling the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and have shown that people, even despite their intellectual and religious differences, stand together in times of human crisis.

In contrast, the freedom-loving people of Sulaymaniyah attended the funeral and at the grave of Ghazal Mulan, despite the threat of drone and missile attacks by the Islamic Republic regime, and showed their solidarity with her ideals by chanting slogans such as "Woman, Life, Freedom."

Witnesses say that the atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with deep sadness and empathy, such that many of those present experienced the grief of losing her as a family tragedy. The presence of civil activists, artists, writers, teachers, and journalists at the ceremony also had a wide impact.

This event once again showed that the people of Iraqi Kurdistan, especially Sulaymaniyah, along with other parts of Kurdistan, are on the path of freedom-seeking and popular solidarity, and that the actions of the ruling structures cannot be generalized to this society.
