US should bomb ISIS positions on the Kobanê front: YPG.
ISIS has responded to the US air strikes in Syria by sending more of its mercenaries to Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan) to join the attack on the Kurdish city of Kobanê.
“There is a redeployment of (ISIS) from areas that have been hit in the air strikes by the alliance countries towards our areas,” YPG spokesman Redur Xelil toldReuters. “This could lead to increased pressure on our forces if they don’t bomb (ISIS) positions on the Kobanê front”.
Rojava was untouched by the air strikes this morning although it is currently the main theatre of ground war with ISIS in Syria.
Salih Muslim, leader of the pro-Kurd PYD (Democratic Union Party) stated today that he wants to work with the USA and its allies to defeat ISIS. “We look forward to coordinating with the (anti-ISIS) coalition in the face of terrorism, which threatens all human values in the Middle East,” he said.
