YPG captures 3 Belgian and French ISIS members at border.
Three ISIS members captured by YPG fighters as they tried to cross the border from Turkey into Kobanê were found to have Belgian and French citizenship. The three, two of them Belgian and one French, were captured as they tried to cross the border yesterday evening.
The three were captured as they strayed into a YPG controlled area near the village of Ashmê in Kobanê canton.
The Belgian citizens are brothers, Yasin Ahmet Cemii and Emin Ahmet Cemmi, of Moroccan origin. The French citizen's name is Omar Bil-Qasim.
There are hundreds of EU citizens involved in the attacks on the Kobane Canton which began on 15 September. EU citizens join ISIS by going through Turkey, which not only turns a blind eye to the transit of ISIS gang members, but also provides logistic support at different points on the border.
We are publishing the photos of the three gang members captured by the YPG. They are continuing to be questioned.
