Murder of #Mahboobeh_Delavari, an education teacher in #Ilam, by her husband

Mahboobeh Delavari was murdered by her husband in this city. The killer's motive for committing the crime was stated to be family disputes.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, Mahboobeh Delavari, a 42-year-old teacher from Abdanan city in Ilam province, was murdered by her husband by hitting her skull with a hard object.

Mahboobeh Delavari was beaten to death by her husband using a flowerpot during an argument over financial issues and her husband's opposition to her decision to buy a house in Sarbandar.

After committing the murder of his wife, the 47-year-old murderer covered her body with a blanket, left her body inside the house, and remained at the same location for a day and a half after the crime.

The murderer was eventually reported to the police and arrested by one of his wife's friends, who had visited their home after she failed to respond to repeated calls from the family and her cell phone was turned off, and had learned about the arguments the previous night from neighbors.
