According to reports of Kurdistan Human Rights Association , today Monday 29 of May of 2017, “Basimeh Kuvnja” northern Kurdistan representative of Sirte from the list of HDP and HDP spokesman for the Turkish Parliament, was arrested at the airport Alih.

She had been released earlier by the Turkish government courts, but again with Turkey’s Supreme Court decision to arrest was given.

Basimeh Kuvnja on 20 March , 1970 in the region Albistan province Mersch North Kurdistan was born and In 1993, at age 23, was arrested by Turkish security forces and political charges and sentenced to 11 years in prison remained until 2004.

After his release from prison was a member of the DTP party democratic societies and even in the party’s activities in the field of women’s rights and women’s rights violations was active.
