In the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, August 18, the death sentence of a man who, together with his wife, committed the murder of a female teacher and 3 children in the Gahdam neighborhood of Bayrom, Larestan, Fars Province, was carried out in public, in the presence of the father of the family and his son, judicial and law enforcement officials, and the people of Bayrom.

This night terror occurred when a man and his wife entered the house of a neighbor woman with the motive of stealing her gold – with whom they had close family ties – and entered her house. The teacher and her three young daughters arrived at the house in the most dangerous way possible.

After committing the crime, the man and his wife were trying to kidnap the family’s son. However, on their way to escape in Fars Province, they were identified and stopped by police officers who acted promptly. The young son was rescued from the trunk of the car and the man escaped unharmed.

With the swift investigation of the judicial system, both defendants were sentenced to death. Finally, this morning, the man’s death sentence was carried out in the public square of Lar city, and his wife will soon be sentenced to death in a court of law
