 To the people of Kurdistan and the people of Iran,
📌I am sorry and feel ashamed to have stood alongside Pahlavi supporters, even for a short time, due to my lack of prior knowledge and awareness, political pressure, and the high number of casualties in Iran.

📌I have found myself several times in gatherings of Pahlavi supporters, monarchists, or royalists. Those who speak of democracy have told my fellow townspeople that a few “mountain goats” (separatists) have no right to intervene or make decisions.
I am proud to be a “mountain goat”   who knows the difference between democracy and indecency. I am proud to be Kurdish. No one can take this away from me—neither from me nor from anyone else. No one can take away one’s identity.

How is it that attacks or requests from foreign countries, foreign attacks on the country’s soil, do not endanger territorial integrity or cause separatism, yet when my fellow townsman or I express our requests calmly and peacefully, we are labeled separatists, pan-Kurds, pan-Turks, traitors, or whatever name you choose to give? Where do you get these ideas?

And I am ashamed to have stood alongside those who use such language and do not know the difference between democracy, indecency, and other things.
