The Islamic Republic has carried out arbitrary and indiscriminate arrests against the Iranian people, especially in Kurdish areas,
as the war has expanded
With the outbreak of military conflicts in Iran, the Islamic Republic has launched a massive wave of arrests of political activists and protesting citizens.
This trend has intensified in the last two days, and a large number of people have been detained without being informed of their whereabouts.
The families of these detainees continue to be completely unaware of the status and health of their loved ones. The list of detainees identified by human rights organizations as of Monday, March 15, 2025, by city, is as follows:
Tehran: Mojgan Ilanlou, Mohammad Pirhadi (wife), Leila Pirhadi (daughter), and Mohammad Moradi
Mashhad: Javad Sarki and Hamed Rasoulkhani
Isfahan: Bahareh Afshar, Arshia Afshar, and Arshad Afshar (Baha'i family)
Ilam: Sasan Chamanara and Parastu Chamanara (sisters)
Saghez: Sobhan Azizi and Omid Khorshidi
Savjbolagh: Ameneh Ghasemzadeh and Ario Mashrafi (child)
Shahinshahr: Hossein Afrasiab
Bukan: Peshwa Aghapour
These widespread arrests are a clear example of systematic repression in the country's critical conditions, and the continuation of this situation has raised serious concerns about the safety of life and freedom of these citizens.
