#Internet_is_cut_off_by_iranian_islamic_regime
The Islamic Republic has cut off the internet and made the telephone one-way. No one from outside can call inside, but from inside they can call outside, which is expensive.
According to the Internet monitoring organization Netblocks, the widespread Internet outage in Iran has entered its 24th day and has become one of the most severe cases recorded in the world.
The organization announced that the duration of the disruption has exceeded 552 hours and international communication is still unavailable to the general public.
According to Netblocks, the Islamic Republic authorities have also established a limited “whitelist” system for access to the global Internet, which only certain users or institutions can use.
