The Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party has released a statement announcing the murder of a former commander of the party in his house in Norway.

The commander's name was Mahmoud Muhmmedi, known as Mahmoud Khas, and was a former Peshmerga commander of the Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party.
On Sunday, Khas was found dead in his house in Norway.
The police has started investigating the murder without revealing any initial information at the moment.
However, it is not a unique incident faced by Iranian Kurdish opposition members abroad as several other Iranian Kurdish politicians and officials were assassinated across Europe in the past years by unknown killers.
