A textbook in Religion Science for Seventh Classers quotes in the introductory chapter on Christianity the pun clause "Hang God". This text accuses God of being racist and fascist. The book also claims that Jesus was involved with whores and countrymen.

Jacob Harman of the Syrian-Aramean Youth League commented with the correct book in powerful terms:

- This kind of comparison between this song text next to a cartoon image of Jesus Christ had not been done with other world religions. One would not have printed such a book, and the schools had not bought it. And I can guarantee - if they had such a book at school it had been withdrawn immediately.

Jerry Norrbom, Rector of Oxbacks School in Södertälje, says he agrees with the criticism of this book, but his commentary on the scandal is quite undesirable and harmless - not to say a coward:

- I agree that that part of the text may not be in the right place, if we say so. And I know that teachers tend to avoid this book.

An editor of the book publishing Nature & Culture is about as flattering in his attitude:

"The subject of religion is about dialogue and meeting. And if you meet the view that "that's actually violating us," then the conversation is wrong. Then it's worth listening to this kind of views.

Despite the daring criticism, the textbook is not drawn. It continues to be sold until it's out of stock. Only then will a new version of the book be printed. Until then, the schools continue to use the book.

In our country it seems to be quite okay even for a well-established book publisher to lie about Christianity and Jesus. But when do the same publishers dare to speak plainly about the widespread opposition of Christianity to Christianity? Probably never.
