Iranian regime gave word to an Iraqi terrorist group Hashd al Shaabi to carry out a coup in Iraq and overthrow the Iraqi US supporting government, take over the Iraqi government.
Organized Popular Rally Program to Overthrow Iraqi / US Government: If the Iraqi government does not deal with the popular mobilization, we will take action.
The Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that al-Hashd al-Shabi forces have devised an organized plan to overthrow the Iraqi government and intend to oust Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi by removing his trust.
The militant group affiliated with the Iranian regime has sent indirect messages to the prime minister through the local media and its prominent leaders, but Mustafa al-Kazemi stressed that the rule of law is the only way to statehood.
According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, traces of this organized program can be seen in the statements of Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of Ittihad al-Fatah, and Qais al-Khazali, the leader of Asaeb Ahl al-Haq, who accused Mustafa al-Kadhimi of being hostile to the popular uprising.
Al-Kadhimi said on Thursday that the rule of law was the only way to strengthen the government's position and loyalty to it. "We must work to strengthen loyalty to the country among members of the armed forces," he added.
In recent days, the US Embassy in Baghdad has sent a letter to the Iraqi government expressing concern over the control of the "popular uprising" over Baghdad's Green Zone. "If they do not deal with the popular uprising, the United States will take action," the US embassy told the Iraqi government.
In recent days, following the arrest of Qassim Mosleh, one of the top commanders of the "popular uprising" militia, accused of killing Iraqi civil activists, the militants threatened Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi with a siege of the Green Zone.
The unprecedented move comes a day after a number of protesters were shot dead during a demonstration in Baghdad yesterday.
However, a number of al-Hashdal al-Shabaab militants entered the Green Zone, the government headquarters in Baghdad, on Wednesday evening in large numbers to protest the arrest of Mosleh.
Security forces say they have put an end to the threatening move and taken control of the situation.
