As a result of the drone attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps on the Kurdistan Region, a member of the PJAK military wing, Semko Kobani, was killed and another member of the organization was injured.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, a member of the Eastern Kurdistan Defense Units, Semko Kobani, was killed in a drone attack near the village of "Shiveh Goyzan" in Panjvin, and another person with him was injured.

The drone, which took off in the border areas with the Kurdistan Region, targeted a Toyota Hilux vehicle, setting the surrounding forests on fire and causing extensive damage to the environment of the region. The Eastern Kurdistan Units (YRGYZ) confirmed in a statement that two of its members were killed and two others were injured in the attack.
