The ISIS member who was filmed beheading a Druze man yesterday morning was interviewed by a reporter on Al Arabiya after leaving Suwayda. He was transporting women and children that he said he

“rescued.” Listen to the woman being interviewed.

She’s scared to talk. The reporter asks her, “when did you come down and surrender to the fighters?” She responds, “they came and got us.” She notes they’re from At Tireh, the outskirts of Suwayda. This is what ISIS and other jihadis do — they steal women, just as they did to the Yazidis. For 1,400 years, women have been taken as spoils of jihad, raped, sold in slave markets, and traded like property. It’s not just ISIS — it’s their creed, their war.
