The Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq has officially suspended the Qatari networks terrorist  Al Jazeera and expelled its journalists from the Kurdistan Region after the outlet published images from sensitive security areas, authorities say.

 

Authorities claim Al Jazeera was filming military locations and broadcasting them live, which they say could make it easier for Iran-backed fighters to identify and target those positions.

Officials stated the report violated wartime reporting regulations, raising concerns about operational security during an active conflict period. The decision immediately halts Al Jazeera’s reporting operations within the Kurdistan Region.
