We strongly condemn these executions. On Monday, the Iranian judiciary announced the execution of two members of the "People's Mujahedin" named Mohammad Masoumshahi and Hamed Validi, who had previously been arrested on charges of "spying for the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) and acting against national security."

First of all, these charges seem unlikely and these charges have become a common thing in Iran for the authorities of the Islamic regime. Accusations of espionage for the Mossad are one of the tools of repression and killing. It should not be thought that in Iran, accusations have become very common by the authorities of the Islamic Republic.
According to the claims of the Iranian judicial authorities, these individuals, who were introduced as residents of Karaj and Isfahan, were convicted of crimes such as "moharebeh, cooperation with a hostile state, gathering and collusion against the security of the country, and propaganda activities against the regime."

The MeK organization said that the two were members of this group and were arrested a year ago and accused of espionage in October this year in connection with the Twelve-Day War.

According to the Mizan news agency, the Iranian judiciary said that these individuals were “members of a spy network who communicated with Mossad intelligence officers through cyberspace and travel to the Iraqi Kurdistan region and returned to the country after undergoing training in terrorist operations and acts of harassment.”

The execution of these sentences took place in a situation where no precise details of the trial process or images of these individuals have been published so far.
