On the second day of the Global Investment Platform Conference in Barcelona, ​​the delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDP) held a series of important political meetings with the leaders of political parties and representatives of countries around the world.

On Saturday, July 29, 2016, a delegation of the Democratic Party of Iran (DPI) led by Mr. Mustafa Hijri met with a significant number of world leaders and political representatives.

On the sidelines of the conference, Mr. Mustafa Hijri held a private meeting with Ms. Magdalena Andersson, leader of the Social Democratic Party and former Prime Minister of Sweden. In the meeting, Ms. Anderson expressed her pleasure at the meeting with the party delegation, expressed her and her party's concern about the current changes in the region and reaffirmed her support for the continuation of the democratic struggle.

The main topic of the party delegation's discussions with the international representatives was to emphasize the basic messages such as defending freedom and democracy, protecting human rights, consolidating gender equality and the principle of equality for all. The issue of fighting poverty and the international responsibility to prevent human neglect were also highlighted.
