اژه‌ای با اشاره تلویحی به مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی که با جنگ مخالفت کردند گفت: «اگر آن‌ها بخواهند خطای خودشان را جبران کنند و توبه کنند، باید از آن‌ها هم استقبال و کمکشان کنیم.»
