The Iranian judiciary has approved death sentences for three people arrested during the winter protests.

The three young individuals, named Ehsan Hosseini-Pour, Matin Mohammadi and Erfan Amiri, are between 17 and 18 years old.
A committee monitoring the situation of detainees has stated that the protesters were subjected to severe torture and forced confessions, and that they were not given access to legal defense.
