The “Welcoming May Day and Against Executions” conference was held on April 26, 2026, 26 Ordibehesht 1405, in protest against executions and imprisonment and the criminal Internet shutdown in Iran, by the Campaign for the Release of Imprisoned Workers (Free Them Now). Ameneh Asgari, representative of the “Defenders of the Rights of the Child in Iran,” while honoring the memory of loved ones who were killed in the Shahid Rajaee Port disaster last year, 26 Ordibehesht 1404, spoke about imprisoned children, child laborers, and child laborers.

همایش «استقبال از اول مه و عليه اعدام» در روز ۲۶ آپریل ۲۰۲۶، ۶ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵، در اعتراض به اعدام و زندان و خاموشی جنایتکارانه اینترنت در ایران، از سوی کمپین برای آزادی کارگران زندانی (Free Them Now) برگزار شد. آمنه عسگری، نمایندهی «مدافعان حق کودکی در ایران» ضمن گرامیداشت یاد عزیزانی که در فاجعهی بندر شهید رجایی سال گذشته، ۶ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۴، کشته شدند، از کودکان زندانی، کودکان کار و کودکان کارگر گفت.
ما نمیتوانیم دربارهی حقوق کودک حرف بزنیم و در برابر وضعیت کارگران سکوت کنیم. تا زمانی که کرامت و حقوق کارگران و همه مزدبگیران نادیده گرفته شود، فقر، ناامنی، و بیثباتی گریبانگیر کودکان خواهد بود.
حق کودکی، حق بیقید و شرط هر کودکیست.
دفاع از حقوق کارگر، دفاع از کودکیست.
و مبارزه برای کودکی، مبارزه برای جهانی انسانیتر، عادلانهتر و شایستهتر است.
