♀️The main principle is that "only a voluntary yes means consent" Until now, the laws have been very different in European countries. In some countries, it had to be proven that the victim resisted physically or that the perpetrator used violence and threats. What has now changed is that the resolution requires that sexual assault be defined only as “the absence of voluntary consent”. “Silence or non-defense never means consent,” the law says. Only an outspoken, liberal, and conscious “yes” legitimizes the relationship.

They believed that the EU had no legal authority to interfere in the penal laws of countries. The current resolution (April 2026) puts intense pressure on countries to fill this legal gap.

​جگە لە سزادانی دەستدرێژکەر پەرلەمان داوا دەکات:
🔶سەنتەری فریاگوزاری ٢٤ کاتژمێری بکرێنەوە.
🔶​هاوکاری دەروونی و یاسایی بێبەرامبەر بۆ قوربانییان دابین بکرێت.
🔶​مەشق و ڕاهێنان بە پۆلیس و دادوەران بکرێت تا چیتر بە چاوێکی پڕ لە پێشداوەری و "کڵیشە کۆنەکان" تەماشای دۆسیەی دەستدرێژی نەکەن.🔥
​ ئامانجی ئەو گۆرانکارێ ئەوەیە "مافی بڕیاردان لەسەر جەستە" بکرێتە بەستێنی یاسایی و بە فەرمی بناسرێت. چیتر پرسیارەکە ئەوە نەبێ: "ئایا قوربانییەکە بە توندی بەرگری کردووە؟" بەڵکو ئەوەیە: "ئایا تاوانبارەکە دڵنیابووەتەوە کە ڕەزامەندییەکی ڕاستەقینە هەبووە؟"
