 #Bita_Hemmati, her fiancé and two other protesters were sentenced to death in 2026;
Political execution is a crime against humanity.humanity because a political person has a project, and instead of executing, listen to the political protester.

Bita Hemmati, Mohammadreza Majidi Asl, Behrouz Zamani-nejad and Kourosh Zamani-nejad have been sentenced to death and full confiscation of property in connection with the January 1404 protests. Behrouz and Kourosh were reportedly their neighbors.
State media had previously broadcast Bita Hemmati’s forced confessions in the presence of the head of the judiciary. The time of the sentencing and the current whereabouts of the four protesters are unknown.
In recent weeks, images of eight Iranian female protesters at risk of execution have been posted on social media. To our knowledge, #Bita_Hemmati is the only woman to have been sentenced to death so far. Please send any additional information you have to the Iranian Human Rights Organization.
The Iranian Human Rights Organization says this is the first death sentence for protesters under the new law “Intensifying the Punishment for Espionage”; A law with a broad definition of “operational action.” At least 30 January protesters have been sentenced to death.
