 🇩🇪 Nur El-Huda Chehade, a 25-year-old German TikTok influencer who spent 17 years wearing the hijab, says she has received death threats after deciding to stop wearing it.

Known for creating content about Islam, the Quran, women's rights, and anti-Muslim discrimination for young Muslim women, Chehade said she removed the hijab in early May because she "didn't feel it anymore."

She described feeling anxious the first time she went outside without it but says she has not regretted the decision. After announcing the change online, she faced a wave of abuse and death threats.
