 Russia has launched a major offensive against Ukraine, with several key government targets in Ukrainian cities being targeted by Russian attacks.

 According to Ukrainian officials, air defences intercepted 18 missiles and 108 drones, but multiple ballistic missiles penetrated the shield, striking residential buildings, warehouses, a supermarket and a student dormitory according to local sources. At least one person was killed and 14 others were injured.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia launched approximately 1,450 strike drones, 1,640 guided bombs and 99 missiles against Ukraine over the past week alone, highlighting the growing intensity of Moscow’s long-range bombardment campaign.

The strikes came just hours after Ukraine carried out its own long-range drone attacks against two Wildberries warehouses in Russia, reportedly killing eight people and igniting major fires.
