Since the beginning of the latest round of the war in March last year, Donald Trump has announced several times that he personally wishes to occupy Kharg Island and sell Iranian oil.
Kharg Island is Iran's largest oil terminal and one of the most important oil export centers of the Islamic Republic in the Persian Gulf.
Meanwhile, military and political officials of the Islamic Republic have announced that they will strongly confront American forces if they enter Iranian territory.
