 Urgent Announcement and Call of the Coalition of Political Parties of Iranian Kurdistan
Condemnation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Terrorist Attacks on Refugees and Political Parties in the Kurdistan Region

 The Kurdish parties residing in the Kurdistan Region for nearly 39 years have been encamped and have lost their ability to fight on the ground. They failed to take advantage of the opportunity that arose between the Iranian regime and the United States and missed the opportunities that arose. They have not made any moves against the mullahs' regime. Currently, the regime has put a lot of pressure on Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to expel these parties from the Kurdistan Region. Even several important patriotic and national interest proposals from the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK) to create a national army have been rejected by these parties.

Over the past 21 days, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s regime, in continuing its systematic crimes, has grossly violated Iraq’s national sovereignty and international standards dozens of times. This regime has relentlessly targeted refugee camps and the headquarters of Iranian Kurdistan’s political parties by carrying out repeated, brutal, and brutal missile and drone attacks. These organized aggressions are taking place while Kurdish political parties have focused their activities on political struggles for years and have not posed any military threat to the region; Therefore, these continuous attacks are merely an excuse to repeat the cycle of violence and repression and create fear and terror.
These acts of aggression have seriously endangered the lives of hundreds of civilians, including many children, and have led to the re-displacement of defenseless families in difficult humanitarian conditions.
We call on the international community, especially the United States and international allies:
1. To increase pressure on the Iranian regime, using all its instruments of influence, to immediately stop these attacks and ensure the safety of refugees.
2. To take the necessary measures to equip refugee settlement areas with air defense systems to protect the lives of families and civilians from drone attacks.
3. To dispatch an independent investigative team to investigate the dimensions of these crimes and identify the damage done to refugees.

We call on the Iraqi government, as the host government:
Based on international law, the Iraqi government is directly responsible for protecting the lives of Kurdish refugees and political activists on its territory. The Iraqi government must go beyond formal statements to guarantee the safety of these individuals, stand firmly against Iran’s violation of its sovereignty, and pursue the issue at the highest international levels.
The time for action is now. Silence in the face of these crimes is a green light for the continuation of state terrorism.
