 The slogan of “Thank you, Uncle Trump. Thank you, uncle Bibi,”   did  not help monarchists for regime change in IRAN, so what is the problem? 


For 47 years, the Iranian diaspora, especially monarchists, has failed at what truly matters: mobilizing real political change inside Iran. They have not even rallied a hundred committed revolutionaries on the ground.
This failure is summed up in the sarcastic refrain: “Thank you, Uncle Terump. Thank you, Bibi,” . It mocks the diaspora’s obsession with foreign validation while ignoring the hard work of grassroots organizing. Loud online and celebrated in elite circles, they exist mostly as symbols, absent where action matters.
The lesson is clear. Politics is not a hashtag, retweet, or dinner with powerful patrons. Real influence comes from local roots and sustained organizing, none of which the diaspora has mastered. Until that changes, their words will remain empty and largely irrelevant.
