 Report on the arrest of four women in Tehran and Divandarreh

At least four women, including a Kurdish woman from the family of the January 19 protesters, named Shewar Karimzadeh, Saba Ahmadi, Fariba Ghahremani, and Farzaneh Fasihi, have been arrested by the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran and Divandarreh, and no information is available about their fate.


According to reports received by the Hengeo Human Rights Organization, four women have been arrested by government forces and are in limbo. The names of these citizens are listed below;


Those arrested in Tehran;


Shewar Karimzadeh, a theater and cinema actress, was arrested on Friday, January 9, 2026 (January 19, 2026) and transferred to an unknown location.


Farzaneh Fasihi, a physician living in Tehran, was arrested on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, during the 40th anniversary of the massacre in Behesht-e-Zahra, Tehran.


Saba Ahmadi was arrested on the morning of Saturday, February 14, 2026, when government forces raided her home and transferred her to Evin Prison.


This citizen owns a mason and had previously been summoned and her account blocked for activities related to the mason on social media.


Detainees from Divandarreh;


Fariba Ghahremani, a Kurdish woman from Divandarreh and the aunt of Arsalan Ghahremani, one of the victims of the January protests in Tehran, was arrested by the IRGC’s intelligence forces on Thursday, February 9, 2026.


As of the time of writing this report, accurate information about the charges, whereabouts, and fate of these citizens is not available.
