Surveillance camera footage captured the incident and may assist in the investigation. Despite the scare, the victim managed to leave the scene, but the episode has generated concern among residents and family members in the area.

According to information gathered by Campo Maior em Foco, the two girls were returning alone from the Events Square of the Santo Antônio Festival when they began to be followed by a dark-colored Fiat Uno model vehicle. The entire action was filmed by security cameras and occurred around 5:20 am.
As the images show, the criminal leaves with the car, but the young girl manages to open the door, jump out of the moving car and escape from the suspect.
The victims' family filed a police report at the Campo Maior Sectional Police Station, which initiated the investigations into the case.
Subsequently, the car approaches the victims, and an armed man approaches the teenagers and opens the rear door of the car.A 36-year-old man suspected of attempting to kidnap two 13-year-old girls in Campo Maior, Piauí, was arrested by the Civil Police after a warrant was issued by the Judiciary.
The girls were returning from a party in the city and were attacked on their way back. He denied it, but when he saw the images, he couldn't lie and was indicted!
