Gradual Murder in Urmia Cells; Cancer and #Torture Brought #Shalir_Mam_Qaderi to the Brink of Death!
Shalir Mam-Qaderi, a 34-year-old political prisoner from Mahabad, has lost 27 kilograms of weight due to continued deliberate deprivation of treatment and medication and is in an extremely critical condition in Urmia Central Prison. Her life is in serious danger, and every moment of silence completes the executioners' mission.
The criminal regime's security and judicial apparatus has arrested this sick woman on false charges such as "membership in Kurdish opposition parties," "action against national security," and "propaganda against the system." This is while Shalir's real crime was only communicating, empathizing, and supporting the families of those seeking justice and those who lost their lives in the path to freedom in Mahabad.
Shalir was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer before being re-arrested on April 10, 1405. The officers broke her knee during the violent arrest. She was later subjected to such severe physical torture in detention that she was taken to the hospital bleeding profusely and underwent surgery, but was immediately returned to the ward before completing her treatment.
This single mother has been completely deprived of her right to a lawyer, family visits, and even regular contact with her two daughters, in order to take her life in a total news boycott.
Depriving a cancer patient of medicine, a doctor, and care is nothing short of “state murder” and the slow erosion of a life.
