Update: This incident took place in Herzliya, Israel, in July 2024 — not Tel Aviv, and not in 2026 as previously shared.

Corrected facts: The 33 year old mother did not behead her 6 year old son; he was stabbed to death. She also killed the family dog, then walked to the nearby Seven Stars Mall covered in blood and carrying an axe. There she attacked a security guard, performed yoga poses outside the entrance, and was later arrested.

In March 2025, an Israeli court ruled she was legally unfit to stand trial, as the crimes were committed during a severe psychotic episode.
