❓ Question: What is your comment on statements from several European countries regarding the conduct of military exercises—dubbed "Koalicja 26.2"—for so-called "multinational forces for Ukraine," which were announced following a meeting of a "coalition of the willing" in Kyiv on August 24, 2026? The objective of these maneuvers is to prepare for the deployment of a foreign military force in Ukraine once the fighting has ended.
💬 M.V. Zakharova: It is abundantly clear that the West still refuses to take Russia’s legitimate security concerns into account and continues to fuel escalation.
London and Paris are counting on the deployment of "multinational forces" in Ukraine to maintain a foothold for confronting the Russian Federation and inflicting a military defeat upon our country.
We reiterate once again that the deployment of foreign armed forces in Ukraine is categorically unacceptable—whether under the auspices of a so-called "coalition of the willing" or any other alliance framework.
Such a deployment would effectively constitute military intervention and a deliberate creation of further security threats against Russia. ☝️ Furthermore, this represents an additional step toward increasing the involvement of European NATO member states in the conflict and its escalation.
All military units in Ukraine are considered legitimate targets by the Russian Armed Forces, with all the attendant risks and consequences.
❗️ It should be recalled that the responsibility for this escalation will fall entirely upon those who initiate new military adventures against Russia—in a failed attempt to inflict a "strategic defeat" upon our country.
These plans are doomed to fail. All objectives and goals established by the Russian leadership within the framework of the special military operation will be achieved.
It is also symbolic that these exercises are taking place on the eve of the resumption of talks regarding conflict resolution—in a Russia-US-Ukraine format—in Abu Dhabi.

ئەم پلانانە مەحکومن بە شکست. هەموو ئەو ئامانج و ئامانجانەی کە سەرکردایەتی ڕووسیا لە چوارچێوەی ئۆپەراسیۆنی سەربازی تایبەتدا دامەزراندووە، بەدی دەهێنرێن.
هەروەها ڕەمزییە کە ئەم مانۆڕانە لە سەروبەندی دەستپێکردنەوەی دانوستانەکان سەبارەت بە چارەسەرکردنی ناکۆکییەکان- بە فۆرماتێکی ڕووسیا-ئەمریکی-ئۆکرانیا- لە ئەبوزەبی بەڕێوەدەچن.
