🚨 A number of Telegram channel operators publishing private images of citizens were arrested in Malayer

👤The Malayer County Police Commander announced the identification and arrest of 7 Telegram channel operators who were publishing private images and defaming citizens.

Social security in Iran has almost become zero after the war.
Excruciating inflation and 350 percent unemployment, subsidies and the government cannot help its compatriots.

🔸According to the Police News Agency, Colonel "Ahmad Saki" explained the details of this news: Following continuous monitoring of cyberspace and receiving numerous complaints from citizens, it was determined that several Telegram channels had published private and personal images of some Malayer citizens with the aim of hurting public decency and creating psychological insecurity.

🔸He added: In addition to publishing private images, the operators of these channels tried to extort and damage the family reputation of individuals by attributing slander and slander, threatening citizens and demanding digital currency in exchange for deleting the images.

🔸The Malayer County Police Commander continued: These individuals were trying to carry out their criminal actions under the cover of government institutions, sometimes by forging identities.

🔸The Malayer County Police Commander emphasized the police's complete control over cyberspace and stated: "Given the sensitivity of the issue and its widespread impact, this case was specifically placed on the agenda of the FATA Police of the County Police Command. Ultimately, with round-the-clock, non-stop efforts, complex technical and specialized measures, and the use of special police techniques, in cooperation with security agencies, the judicial authority, and the County Security Council, 7 of the main administrators of these channels have been identified and arrested in a surprise raid. Efforts to identify and arrest other suspects are still ongoing."

🔸 Referring to the introduction of the suspects to the judicial authority, this official invited all citizens who have been abused or extorted by these channels in any way to contact the FATA Police of the County to file a complaint and pursue their case.

🔸He concluded by warning people who think that cyberspace is a safe haven for their criminal actions, saying: "The police will deal with any criminal action, such as publishing private images, threats, defamation, and extortion, decisively and in the shortest possible time, and will not allow some people to abuse the social media platform to harm the peace and dignity of citizens."
