 🔴Transfer of 14 prisoners to solitary confinement in Isfahan's Dastgerd Prison; imminent threat of execution of 12 death sentences

According to published reports, 14 prisoners were transferred from Isfahan's Dastgerd Prison to solitary confinement today. Of these, 12 are those sentenced to death in the case known as "Isfahan's Alikhani Square", whose sentences had previously been sent to the Isfahan Revolutionary Court for execution after confirmation by the Supreme Court. Two other prisoners were also transferred to solitary confinement at the same time.

Informed sources have warned that the risk of the execution of these 12 prisoners' sentences in the next two days is very serious and their transfer to solitary confinement could be a sign of the beginning of the final stages of the execution of the sentence.

At the same time, prisoners in the Health Ward 2 of Isfahan's Dastgerd Prison, which houses political prisoners, have begun their first day of hunger strike today in protest of the transfer of these prisoners and the risk of execution of death sentences.

The case known as "Isfahan's Alikhani Square" was reopened in the protests of January 8, 1404.
