 She Got Into a Taxi—and Never Returned!

On October 26, 2026 (Aban 4, 1405), 27-year-old Sara Boroumand, a resident of Golbahar, got into a taxi after disembarking from a bus. Around 9:00 PM, during her final phone call with her mother, she mentioned she was on her way home—but she was never heard from again.

Following the report of her disappearance, specialized investigators from the Khorasan Razavi Criminal Investigation Police (Polis-e Agahi) launched an inquiry. Investigations revealed that she had been murdered within the very first hours of her disappearance.

After 12 days of investigation, the suspect was arrested in Mashhad and led officers to the location where Sara’s body was hidden. Her remains were discovered in a well near an industrial estate and were subsequently transferred to the Forensic Medicine Organization for specialized examination.
