According to the Iraqi outlet "964 Media," citing a government source, other land crossings with Iran are also set to be closed gradually—though no official schedule for these closures has been announced yet.

Agence France-Presse (AFP), citing Iraqi political sources, reports that the United States has pressured the Iraqi government to restrict Iran’s commercial border crossings.
Conversely, an Iraqi government spokesperson has attributed the closure at Chazzabeh to technical and infrastructural issues.

Pakistan—which itself closed the Gabd/Rimdan and Taftan border crossings with Iran on October 17—is now facing a widespread crisis in the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). A Reuters report from Lahore indicates that this closure has halted the daily import of approximately 7,000 tons of LPG from Iran, causing the price of a 12-kilogram cylinder to surge from 4,500 rupees ($16) to 7,000 rupees ($25) within just a few days—an increase of over 55 percent. Officials in Balochistan province have cited "security concerns and efforts to combat smuggling" as the reason for the border closure, while Iran—citing Pakistani officials—has attributed it to "technical issues." In reality, however, this move reflects Islamabad’s alignment with Washington’s policies aimed at exerting economic pressure on Tehran—a strategy that appears to have left Pakistan itself more vulnerable than Iran.
