A 40-year-old woman murdered by her husband in Baharan, Isfahan.

 

Exclusive – Amidst ongoing domestic and family-based violence against women in Iran, Dadban has learned that Mina Soltani, a 40-year-old resident of Baharan, Isfahan, was murdered by her husband on October 8, 2026 (Mehr 16, 1405).
According to information received by Dadban, the 40-year-old victim—a mother of two sons, aged 21 and 10—was brutally killed by her 46-year-old husband, who inflicted multiple stab wounds to her chest and neck.
An informed source told Dadban that, prior to the murder, the perpetrator sent the older son out of the house under a pretext, then locked the younger son—who is only 10 years old—in a room, before attacking and killing Mina Soltani.
The source stated that after the murder, the husband contacted the police himself, reported the killing, and identified himself as the perpetrator.
The source indicated that the motive for the murder was financial, stemming from disputes over money related to a house and a vehicle.
The murder of Mina Soltani should not be viewed merely as the result of a family dispute; this crime is an instance of lethal violence against women, highlighting the urgent need for legal protections and preventive measures for women within the family sphere. The absence of comprehensive and effective legislation to combat violence against women, the weakness of support mechanisms, and the lack of sufficient guarantees for immediate intervention in cases of domestic violence all demonstrate the failure of the Islamic Republic’s legal system to protect women’s right to life and security.

New Details Emerge Regarding the Shocking Murder of 16-Year-Old Yeganeh Hosseinzai by Her Husband

Exclusive to Dadban: Every finger and bone in her hands had been shattered. Her husband had beaten her with a cable so severely that her skin had turned black, and her face was no longer recognizable.

This is but one aspect of the atrocity inflicted upon 16-year-old Yeganeh Hosseinzai—a resident of Bakharz in Razavi Khorasan—by her husband.

Yeganeh was only 11 years old when she was betrothed to her cousin (her aunt’s son), Mohsen.

She had lost her father at the age of three. Following her mother’s remarriage, Yeganeh was raised by her paternal grandparents. At age 11, she was betrothed to her cousin.

A primary motive for Mohsen’s marriage to Yeganeh was to seize her grandfather’s assets following the latter’s death.

The wedding of Mohsen and Yeganeh took place in early summer 1404 [approx. mid-2025]. In conversations with female relatives, Yeganeh frequently spoke of the abuse and mistreatment she suffered at Mohsen’s hands.

She had mentioned plans to speak with her mother—hoping her mother would inform the grandparents—as she did not want to cause the grandparents any distress herself.

Eventually, Yeganeh went to her mother’s home. Mohsen, who harbored a long-standing conflict with Yeganeh’s mother due to her opposition to the marriage, had consistently prevented Yeganeh from visiting her.

Two days later, Mohsen arrived at the mother’s home under a pretext, intending to bring Yeganeh back. Following this, Yeganeh stopped answering her phone. On October 9, 2026 (Mehr 17, 1405), Mohsen beat 16-year-old Yeganeh to death.

Yeganeh’s entire body was covered in black and blue bruises from being struck with a cable. The bones in her hands and fingers were broken and shattered.

Her head had also been fractured.

After killing Yeganeh, Mohsen placed her lifeless body in a sack and headed toward the agricultural water storage reservoirs, intending to dump it into one of them; however, he discovered that the reservoirs were empty.

Since it was the saffron cultivation season and farmers were present in the fields, he was unable to bury the body.

Eventually, at the suggestion of Mohsen’s sister, they took Yeganeh’s body to the emergency room—by which time she no longer showed any vital signs.

At the emergency room, Ali—Mohsen’s brother—claimed responsibility for the murder. Mohsen’s sister was also aware of the situation. Ultimately, Mohsen admitted that he himself had beaten and killed Yeganeh, stating that he felt no remorse for his actions.

Dadban emphasizes that child marriage constitutes a clear violation of a child’s fundamental rights; a child lacks the physical and mental capacity to make such decisions, and their "consent" holds no legal validity. According to Article 1 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, all individuals under the age of 18 are entitled to special protection.

ئەمە تەنیا بەشێکە لەو تاوانەی کە هاوسەری یەگانە حوسێنزایی، ژنێکی تەمەن ١٦ ساڵانی دانیشتووی شاری باخێرز، خوراسان ڕەزەوی، بەرامبەری ئەنجامدا.

یەگانە تەمەنی ١١ ساڵ بوو کاتێک هاوسەرگیری لەگەڵ ئامۆزاکەی بە ناوی موحسین کرد.

لە تەمەنی سێ ساڵیدا باوکی لەدەستدا. دایکی هاوسەرگیری کرد و یەگانە لە ژێر چاودێری باپیرە و باپیرەی باوکیدا پەروەردە بوو. لە تەمەنی ١١ ساڵیدا هاوسەرگیری لەگەڵ ئامۆزاکەی کردووە.

دەستبەسەرداگرتنی موڵک و ماڵی باپیرەی دوای مردنی، یەکێک لە پاڵنەرە سەرەکییەکانی موحسن بوو بۆ هاوسەرگیری لەگەڵ یەگانە.

لە سەرەتای هاوینی ساڵی ١٤٠٤دا ئاهەنگی هاوسەرگیری موحسن و یەگانە بەڕێوەچوو. لە گفتوگۆکانیدا لەگەڵ کچانی نزیک لە بنەماڵەکە، یەگانە هەمیشە باسی هەراسانکردنی موحسینی دەکرد.

ئەو وتبووی کە پلانی داناوە لەگەڵ دایکیدا لەو بارەیەوە قسە بکات بۆ ئەوەی دایکی بە باپیر و باپیرەی بڵێت، چونکە نەیویستووە ناڕەحەتیان بکات.

تا یەگانە چووە ماڵی دایکی. موحسین هەمیشە کێشەی لەگەڵدا هەبوو، چونکە دایکی یەگانە دژایەتی هاوسەرگیریەکەیان دەکرد و نەیهێشت یەگانە بچێتە ماڵی دایکی.

دوای دوو ڕۆژ موحسن بە بیانوویەک چووە ماڵی دایکی یەگانە بۆ ئەوەی بیهێنێتەوە. دوای ئەوە یەگانە وازی لە وەڵامدانەوەی تەلەفۆنەکەی هێنا.

لە ١٧ی تشرینی یەکەمی ساڵی ١٤٠٥دا، موحسن لە یەگانێی تەمەن ١٦ ساڵان دەدات و گیانی لەدەست دا.

تەواوی جەستەی یەگانە بەهۆی لێدانەکانی کێبڵەوە ڕەش و شین بوو. ئێسکی دەست و پەنجەکانی شکا و چەقێندرابوو.

سەری ئەویش شکابوو.

دوای کوشتنی یەگانە، موحسن تەرمی بێ گیانەکەی خستە ناو کیسەیەکەوە و دەیباتە گۆمەکانی عەمبارکردنی ئاوی کشتوکاڵی بۆ ئەوەی فڕێی بداتە ناو یەکێک لە حەوزەکان، بەڵام بۆی دەرکەوت کە گۆمەکان چۆڵن.

بەو پێیەی وەرزی چاندنی زەعفەران بوو و جووتیاران لە کێڵگەکاندا ئامادە بوون، نەیتوانی تەرمەکەی بنێژێت.

تا لەسەر پێشنیاری خوشکی موحسن، تەرمی یەگانە بردیانە ژووری فریاکەوتن؛ هەرچەندە ئیتر هیچ نیشانەیەکی ژیانی نەبوو.

لە ژووری فریاکەوتندا، عەلی برای موحسن بەرپرسیارێتی کوشتنەکەی لە ئەستۆ گرت. خوشکی موحسینیش لەم بارەیەوە دەیزانی. لە کۆتاییدا موحسن وتی کە من خۆی یەگانێی لێداوە و کوشتوویەتی و پەشیمان نەبووەتەوە.
