” According to her, Mohammadi, who previously underwent heart surgery in November 1401, has suffered at least two serious heart attacks in recent months; once in late March 1405 and again on May 24, 1406. This is despite the fact that the prison doctor said in December 1405 that she needed to be transferred to the emergency room immediately, but this was not done. Referring to the process of Mohammadi’s arrest, Ardakani said that she was arrested during a ceremony in Mashhad and faced physical violence during this arrest. She was then transferred to Mashhad detention center and then to Zanjan prison; while her place of residence was Tehran and this transfer was described as “illegal.” According to the lawyer, Mohammadi has lost nearly 20 kilograms of weight during her approximately 145 days of detention and is being held in conditions where the separation of prisoners is not observed and she has been repeatedly subjected to violence by prison officers. He also referred to Mohammadi’s current situation in the hospital and said that although some family members have managed to visit her in recent days, the hospital is also under strict security surveillance. According to Ardakani, Narges Mohammadi’s family insists that “they have never been so worried and scared” and that the continuation of this situation could seriously threaten her life. It was also recalled that this human rights activist was convicted again in February 2025 on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”

اردکانی با اشاره به روند بازداشت محمدی گفت او در جریان مراسمی در مشهد بازداشت شده و در این بازداشت با خشونت فیزیکی مواجه بوده است. سپس به بازداشتگاه مشهد و بعد به زندان زنجان منتقل شده؛ در حالی که محل زندگی او تهران بوده و این انتقال «غیرقانونی» عنوان شده است. به گفته این وکیل، محمدی در طول حدود ۱۴۵ روز بازداشت نزدیک به ۲۰ کیلوگرم وزن از دست داده و در شرایطی نگهداری می‌شود که تفکیک زندانیان رعایت نشده و بارها از سوی ماموران زندان مورد خشونت قرار گرفته است.
او همچنین به وضعیت کنونی محمدی در بیمارستان اشاره کرد و گفت که اگرچه در روزهای اخیر برخی اعضای خانواده موفق به ملاقات با او شده‌اند، اما فضای بیمارستان نیز تحت نظارت شدید امنیتی قرار دارد. به گفته اردکانی، خانواده نرگس محمدی تاکید دارند که «هرگز تا این اندازه نگران و هراسان نبوده‌اند» و ادامه این وضعیت می‌تواند جان او را به‌طور جدی تهدید کند. همچنین یادآوری شد که این فعال حقوق بشر در بهمن ۱۴۰۴ بار دیگر با اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» محکوم شده است.
