 Switzerland confirmed the death of the first secretary of its embassy in Tehran and called for a criminal investigation


The Swiss Foreign Ministry today (Tuesday) confirmed reports of the death of an employee of its embassy in Iran.


This morning, Mojtaba Khaledi, the spokesman of the Emergency Organization, announced that a person had died after falling from one of the Kamaraniyeh towers, after which it was revealed that this person was the first secretary of the Swiss embassy in Iran.

A spokesman for the country's emergency services announced the fall of a 51-year-old woman who was the first secretary of the Swiss embassy in one of the Kamraniyeh towers and her death.


Mojtaba Khaledi stated in an interview with Mehr: The fall of a 51-year-old woman from one of the Kamaraniyeh towers was announced to the country's 115 emergency system a few minutes ago.


According to him, this person was the first secretary of the Swiss embassy.


A spokesman for the country's emergency services, referring to the cause of the accident, said: "It is not yet clear whether this person committed suicide or whether the fall was just an accident, but the time of his death has long passed."


According to Khaledi, the initial contact with the emergency services was made by the Police Emergency Center.


In the end, he said: in the initial contact with the emergency services, it is said that this body belongs to a man, but after the examinations of the emergency agents, it is determined that he was a woman.
