 Deadly floods on the 🇳🇵Nepal-Tibet border; shocking images of the widespread disaster

Images released of flash floods and landslides in the border region of Nepal and Tibet, China, show the horrific dimensions of the incident.

 

According to local authorities, at least 95 bodies have been found so far and 579 tourists are still missing.

The incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, August 26, after a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Tibet; the landslide caused the Trishuli River to overflow in Nepal. 🌧️🏔️

The Nepalese army and rescue teams are continuing a massive search and rescue operation for the missing.
