A woman was brutally murdered by her brother in the city of Ravansar.

 Soheila Mahmoudi, a 45-year-old woman from the village of Mehregan in Ravansar (Kermanshah province), was killed by her brother using a bladed weapon.
Initial reports indicate the incident followed a family dispute.

According to preliminary information, the woman's brother stabbed her during the altercation.

The victim's body has been transferred to the Ravansar morgue.

Further details regarding the cause and motive of the dispute, as well as the status of the suspect, will be released following the official investigation.
