 Mohammed .K, an 18-year-old Syrian who came to the Netherlands four years ago, has committed 114 thefts and various crimes. The latest crime was committed on the night of July 12-13, 2026, when he and two other Syrian friends, aged 21, attacked two women living in an apartment in Amsterdam They took cash, mobile phones and even passports. After the two women called police, they were arrested as soon as possible. But Mohammed's case has angered people and attracted newspaper attention; Mohammed was under the age of 18 when he arrived in the Netherlands and asked to bring his parents and younger brother who are in Syria. Family reunification visas have been issued for Mohammed's parents and younger brother. But some parties in the Dutch parliament and the people say how can someone have 114 different crimes and we go to bring his relatives and provide them with houses as a reward for his crimes, while the people of Amsterdam suffer from lack of housing! There is a lot of pressure on the government and parliament has held a session on the case, awaiting a court decision on Mohammed's crime.

Police are searching for the perpetrators of an abduction and a home invasion. The group consists of four or five men. Two of them abducted a 20-year-old woman near Papendrecht at around 10:00 PM on Thursday, July 30. Later that same evening, around 11:00 PM, three suspects forced their way into her home on Prinsenlaan in Rotterdam.
Family members present in the home were tied up and threatened with knives and a firearm. The robbers eventually fled with a large haul, which they had stuffed into two light-blue trash bags. No one was injured during the robbery, but the impact on those present has been profound.
Footage of the robbers in Rotterdam exists. They are believed to be in their early twenties. However, they are not clearly visible in the images because they are wearing hoods over their heads. Despite their faces being obscured, the police hope that one or all of the three robbers shown will be recognized.
It is clear, however, that the three robbers at the Prinsenlaan address have light or dark complexions. They are wearing black tops. Two of them are wearing dark jeans, while the third is wearing lighter-colored jeans. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
