 Najmeh Amini, a 23-year-old student arrested in Mashhad during the national revolution and subsequently sentenced to death, has called on the public to be her voice in a phone call from Mashhad’s Vakil-Abad Prison.

 

Throughout her detention, Amini has been denied the right to choose a lawyer and access a fair trial, and she has faced security-related pressure during interrogations to extract a forced confession.
