Sepideh Gholian, a former political prisoner, announced on her Instagram page that Branch 1 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court has issued a death sentence for Mahboubeh Shabani, a political prisoner held in Mashhad’s Vakilabad Prison.

 Sepideh Gholian, a former political prisoner, announced on her Instagram page that Branch 1 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court has issued a death sentence for Mahboubeh Shabani, a political prisoner held in Mashhad’s Vakilabad Prison.

 

Noting that she had previously been imprisoned in Mashhad, Gholian wrote: "I bear witness that Mahboubeh Shabani is innocent and has been tortured."

Mahboubeh Shabani had previously gone on a hunger strike to protest poor prison conditions; Iran International had reported that she was in poor physical health and had been denied visitation rights and telephone access.

According to these reports, she has also developed a skin condition during her incarceration and has been transferred between different prison wards approximately five times so far.

سێپیدە قولیان زیندانی سیاسی پێشوو لە پەیجی تایبەتی خۆی لە تۆڕی کۆمەڵایەتی ئینستاگرام ڕایگەیاند، لقی یەکەمی دادگای ئینقلابی مەشهەد حوکمی لەسێدارەدانی بۆ مەحبوبە شەبانی زیندانی سیاسی زیندانیکراوی زیندانی ڤاکیل ئابادی شاری مەشهەد دەرکردووە.

قولیان بە ئاماژەدان بەو ڕاستییەی کە ماوەیەکە لە زیندانی مەشهەد زیندانی کراوە، نووسیویەتی: شایەتحاڵی ئەوە دەدەم کە مەحبوبە شەبانی بێتاوان بووە و ئەشکەنجە دراوە.

مەحبوبە شەعبانی پێشتر بۆ ناڕەزایەتی دەربڕین بە دۆخی خراپی زیندانەکە مانی لە خواردن گرتبوو و ئێران ئینتەرناشناڵ ڕایگەیاندبوو کە باری جەستەیی خراپە و سەردان و پەیوەندی تەلەفۆنی لێ ڕەتکراوەتەوە.

بە پێی ئەم زانیاریانە لە ماوەی زیندانی بوونیشیدا تووشی نەخۆشییەکی پێست بووە و تا ئێستا نزیکەی پێنج جار لە نێوان بەشی جیاجیای زیندانەکاندا گواستراوەتەوە.
