Kermanshah — According to images and information received by Pravnews, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army is transferring heavy military equipment and equipment to the western border areas of Kermanshah and near the border with the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

These movements are taking place at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran is simultaneously speaking of its armed forces being in an “aggressive and offensive” state, and the commander of the Hamzeh Seyyed al-Shohada headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard Corps has also threatened that the government will not allow its opponents to operate near the borders.

The increased presence and movement of Iranian military equipment in the western border areas of Kermanshah is taking place at a time when this region has repeatedly witnessed the deployment of forces, military operations, and clashes related to Kurdish parties opposing the Islamic Republic in recent years.

Kermanshah is one of the most important areas of deployment of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army forces in western Iran, and the Western Regional Headquarters of the Army Ground Forces, the 81st Armored Division of Kermanshah, the 181st Armored Brigade of Islamabad West, the 281st Armored Brigade of Bisotun, the 71st Mechanized Infantry Brigade in the Abuzar Sar-e-Pul-Zahab Barracks, the 35th Special Forces Brigade, and the 1st Air Combat Base are present in this region.

The transfer of military equipment to the western borders of Kermanshah has also been reported in recent months, and according to information received by Pronews, the movement of armored equipment of the army and the IRGC has increased in recent days.
