President Barzani Meets Senior US Government

Salahaddin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRP.org) – Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani today met with a senior US government delegation headed by Phil Gordon, Special Assistant to the US President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Region.
The meeting between the President and the US delegation focused on the deteriorating security situation in Iraq, relations between the KRG and Baghdad, the peace process underway in Turkey, and the crisis in Syria.
