President Barzani Receives German Delegation from Baden-Wurttemberg.

Salahadin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, (krp.org)- President Masoud Barzani welcomed a German delegation headed by Mr. Nils Schmid, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy for the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, today to his offices in Salahadin. Mr. Schmid and the accompanying delegation expressed their support for the Kurdistan Region and were impressed with the amount of development and progress here.

Mr. Schmid and President Barzani discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the peace process in Turkey, and the crisis in Syria as well as economic development in the Kurdistan Region. The delegation expressed their desire to engage in development projects in the Region with emphasis on the education sector.
